REM systematic telemarketing 2 hours a day 5 days a week including follow up averaging a minimum 50 calls a week and any new advertised private sellers as they appear in newspaper as tracked.

Compile mailing list of professional services prospects i.e., new home builders, property managers, landlords and home service customers. 15 direct mailers sent out each day to each target market on a rotating basis.

Follow up after 3 days with the contact you directed the mailer to.

Assuming you’ve mapped out your territory you know where new subdivision are being built. Take a couple hours twice a week and drop off business cards and product information with builders, sub contractors, model home sales agents, generally spread the word around about who you are and what we do. You speak to a minimum 5 people an hour about your new real estate service.

Always keep marketing material available in your car and whenever you see a sign, realtor or private sale/rental, drop off your material between the doors and follow up by phone. 10 per week.

As you can see, by doing a few basic prospecting tasks over one week you have invested approximately 25 - 30 hours into your new business and have made a minimum of 155 warm prospecting contacts to your target markets.
